Traffic School

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) generally allows a driver to attend traffic school once every eighteen months. The eighteen month period is counted from the date the ticket is issued, to the traffic violation, not the date you went to traffic school.

Completing a DMV court-approved traffic school course, such as Universal Traffic School, will erase your moving violation from your driving record (vehicle code 42005[b] and 41501).

A voluntary attendance to Universal Traffic School offers a special driving education program to improve your driving skill through this traffic program. You may attend whether or not students are traffic violators. (sections 11200 and 11208 (CVC))

This class is staffed by a former law inforcement.

Schedule:
This is offered the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturday of the each month at 9:00am to 4:30pm. We also offer an Evening session once a month, call for more details.
