Universal driving school is the best.

Universal driving school is the best. They helped me get my licence back after a horific accident 9 years ago. My instructor was Michael Caffin, and if all the instructers are like him I can only say wow. I'm so glad I went, on the driving test 20 errors are allowed and I had only 8. Thank you Universal.

What a GREAT business!

What a GREAT business! All of my children have been taught to drive at Universal Driving and Traffic School. This business knows what they are doing. They are careful, considerate, kind and know the principals of proper teaching. I never received a single gripe from my kids about their treatment at UD&T School, and if you know teens, you know that is significant!

I read the negative reviews and had to laugh. I wonder if the disgruntled mother in the first one believes her child when the child says "but my teacher didn't tell me about the test on Monday..." And as for the second one, for any business to survive 30 years with only a couple of complaints is AMAZING! What this "complaint" proves is simply how GREAT the UD&T school really is.

This place is GREAT!

This place is GREAT! Not only are the employees super friendly, but also very educated. I have heard from many friends that driving school instructors can be pushy, mean, etc. My instructor, Tonio Kohl, was the BEST! He was friendly, educated, and put up with me being a not so good first time driver. By the end of the lesson, believe it or not, I was much better. The cars they use are INCREDIBLE! They made me hate my old toyota even more! Overall, the experience is flawless and incredible. I would trust these people with my life.

I had both of my boys attend classroom...

I had both of my boys attend classroom instruction and behind the wheel driver's training with Jaime and Brian. My boys have never had a ticket and they have never been in an automobile accident. They are very good driver's thanks to the training they received at Universal Driving School.

This is a great way for your children to learn to drive!! Both of my sons attended this school and are now responsible, informed, and safe drivers. They enjoyed the classwork taught by Jaime and they both thought he made the instruction interesting and fun. They both passed the driving test the first time. They also enjoyed having Brian as their behind the wheel instructor. Universal makes it very convenient for high school students to complete their behind the wheel training as it picks them up after school and then takes them back home. Linda in the office was friendly and knowledgeable and made the process easy. I highly recommend this driving school and will use them again to teach my two younger children.

I had Brian W for my behind wheel instructor and I had Jaime for my classroom instruction. I felt the classroom instruction presented by Jaime was really taught in an informative but fun way. I had a blast taking this class. I was picked up from Carlsbad High by Brian W. for my behind the wheel and I learned all the skills I needed drive. I also had some addition driving lessons from Jaime. I was driven to the DMV where I passed my test successfully the first time! Since my lessons with Universal Driving School I have had my license for over a year now with zero tickets. Thank you so much!

Universal has taught all of my seven children to drive :) They have gone out of their way to accommodate our busy schedule, and all of the instructors over the years have been great! We kept going back because we trusted them with the safety of our teens!

This place is perfect!

This place is perfect! I took the classroom portion with Jaime, and he was great. The only 2 questions I missed on the test were because I read the questions wrong. His teaching was flawless! I did behind-the-wheel with Karen Lee, and she was awesome. I got a perfect score on my driving test at the DMV thanks to her instruction. Linda is always a delight, and overall this was the perfect place to go. It was a fun learning experience, and I learned a ton. I'd recommend this place to any of my friends in a heartbeat. Universal Driving & Traffic School rocks!!!

Great value for the price.

Great value for the price. Way better than doing an online course. Very comprehensive. I have had 2 teenagers take this course and both passed both exams with flying colors.

the school provided great tips on driving safely and my instructor was great. He was pacient and undestood that new drivers make mistakes. The expirience improved my driving alot and I recomed this school to everyone interested.

aaron is the best!!!! everyone knows him as the coolest and awesome one to get!!! when you sign up GET AARON!!!! 4 of my friends had him and they ALL PASSED THERE TEST!!!!! i was so stoked to get him!!! DONT LISTEN TO THAT OLD LADY!! SHES CRAZY!! ITS HER FAULT FOR NOT GOING WITH AARON!! THE COOL HAWAIIN GUY!! I MISSED 9 ON MY TEST :) THANK YOU AARON!!! my bff goes to LCC AND THEY ALL LOVE HIM THERE TOO!!!! i miss our talks aaron :) thanks for that great drive thru lesson too on my last day!!! your the BESTEST EVER!!!!!

Very friendly and professional

My daughter has a slight physical disability, so her father and I were very concerned about her learning to drive. We did lots of research, and fell in love with Linda instantly when we called. She answered all our questions and provided advice and lots of different options for her driving instructor explaining each personality in detail. Our daughter drove with Aaron - who was an absolute angel and very kinda and patient with her. She felt very comfortable with his calm personality and looked forward to each lesson. He was very encouraging and patient with her. I want to thank the entire staff from the first phone call with all our silly questions, to the classroom instruction to the behind the wheel lessons. I will definitely refer their company to anyone I know needing lessons. If I would have known it could go this well, we probably would not have put it off so long! Thank you Universal!
